The vision of Beauty to Ashes Maternal Wellness, Inc. is three-fold: to Educate, Empower, and Elevate:

• We will educate BIPOC women and birthing people about doula services: it’s cultural relevance to our community; how using a doula allows the family greater autonomy of the birthing process; the role of the doula as an addition to the family support system and advocate. We will educate our community about career opportunities as professional birth workers and provide workforce development services/training to those interested in pursuing a career as a doula, or lactation professional.

• We will empower BIPOC families to strengthen their mental health and well-being by providing services and support that help them heal from the inside out; to break generational curses and unresolved trauma, so that they can enter parenthood in the fullness of their greatness.

• We will elevate an “it takes a village” service model through a multigenerational approach to providing supportive services, to help BIPOC women, infants and birthing people change the trajectory of their families by offering full wraparound services that meet the needs of diverse families to move from surviving to thriving.
